New National Academies Report on Isotope Replacement

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine released a new report entitled “Radioactive Sources:  Applications and Alternative Technologies” that assesses the current state of radioactive isotope use in medical, research, product sterilization and other applications and progress in applying non-isotopic radiation, such as x-ray, in these applications.  Stellarray presented its work to the working group that conducted the study and our irradiators are mentioned in the report.  The report is available at https://www.nationalacademies.org/our-work/radioactive-sources-applications-and-alternative-technologies.
